There’s no one I trust more with my animals than the staff at EVH. Experienced, professional, calm and compassionate EVH is always there when I need them the most day, night and on public holidays they’re available 24/7.

I don’t often write reviews but I feel like I had to do one in this case. The team at EVH Emergency Vet Hospital are amazing. I had to rush my girl Lexie to them on Monday night. From the start they were nothing but understanding and supportive. Unfortunately there wasn’t much we could do, but they allowed me to be there and hold her during the entire process. Even allowing me to come back today with my family to say our final goodbyes. They explained everything in detail and honestly made the situation that little bit easier knowing she didn’t suffer. I couldn’t thank the team here enough for everything!

We would like to thank Jeanine and all the staff at EVH who took very good care of Leo after he has been bitten by a dog and had to undertake two surgeries. Thank you for being patient with us as well and answer all questions, phone calls or emails. Leo is doing very well!Carlotta & Jack

Thank you to the team at EVH emergencyMy dog was attacked late at night and we had to rush him in to get stitches.They were really great with explaining things, reassuring me and overall helping my anxiety as well as Yukis.3 days in and he’s on the mend, no infection, his wounds are healing and he’s back to his happy old self.

The vets and nurses here go above and beyond for our animals. We had to say goodbye to our family member of 15 years the other day and they were amazing during such a tough time for us. Thank you for everything you guys do.

Best veterinary care in the northern corridor. Kind, compassionate and ethical staff who go above and beyond to provide high quality care to our pets in times of emergency. Compassion is extended to pet owners also and I cannot fault this veterinary clinic in any way. At all times I was informed of treatment options, prognosis ( even high risk of my doggo not surviving his surgery, which thankfully he did thanks to the the skills of the team) and payment options were discussed up front as well as potential ongoing costs to maintain his health. EVH have consistently provided excellent treatment to my dogs when other vet’s misdiagnosed them, resulting in after hours presentations and very unwell doggo’s. EVH is our preferred vet for very good reason. They get it right first time, every time and genuinely care about the animals they treat as well as family members. I personally witnessed the compassion shown to a young child when her beloved pet did not survive the journey while we were also in the clinic.Exceptional veterinary care and exceptional customer service every time.

Unfortunately I called with my dog having a laceration on his ear after a dog attack and the administration told me to take him elsewhere because all their vets were in a meeting. If it's an emergency vet clinic you'd think that they will have at least one vet to take in emergencies. Luckily it wasn't life threatening

We took Cinda in 9 months ago as she was very unwell. You did provide her fluids but then said it was best to put her to sleep. Peter wanted to bring her home the next day but was made to sign a waiver as the vet said she would be gone in 24 hours. We nursed her at home and gave her rehydration fluids, by the next day she was almost back to herself. And guess what, she's still here

We have nothing but praise for Steve and the team at EVH. We followed Steve from his previous practice and have known him for 10 years.Steve with the assistance of Sam went above and beyond when the time came to say goodbye to one of our long term foster dogs, and we were in a predicament in following the wishes of the rescuer. They have shown nothing but compassion.When our recent dog passed at home we drove over an hour to them so, they could look after his final journey to Lawnswood.Everyone's pets are their babies, and they have done nothing but their best for ours over the years.I take my hat off to all vets / nurses as, whilst it must be rewarding in saving lives, it must be even harder when they can't. I know I couldn't do it. It's important that we all remember that they are human and the outcomes effect them too. Even though they are an emergency vet, they will build a relationship with the pets and their owners.When we've had to go there we are prepared that the fees and services are higher than a normal practice. After all they are an emergency vet that's open 24/7.On our last visit I did notice they do have a plastic sign on the counter where there is 3rd party service which can be applied for that helps those they may not have the funds available to cover the vet costs.Thank you again.

The team at EVH were fantastic in treating my dogs Bella and Richie in the past and have recently saved my girl Luna’s life. They were polite, caring and compassionate and did an excellent job. I know this must be a very difficult vet to work at, and I am very grateful.
